EQ50 is a collective of women working towards fairer representation within drum and bass. The initial idea for EQ50 was to hold workshops and provide a safe spaces for women and non-binary people to network and learn about the music industry. The mentoring scheme came to light after over a year of planning. They launched in 2020 pairing up a mentee to work with one of the 5 major labels involved – Ram, Shogun, Critical, Function and V Records.
